He was born in Steele, MO on January 18, 1938, to the late Woodrow and Ada Belle (Carlton) Driskill. Sonny married the love of his life Peggy Fowler on August 2, 1959. He worked for Schenk Farms for 25 years as a foreman and continued his career with Trailer Bridge as semi-truck driver. Sonny was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
